What is Work Weekend?  

Work Weekend happens twice a year, to set up, and take down Camp Olave for the camping season. 

 

Spring Work Weekend usually takes place in late March, and Fall Work Weekend in late September. 

 

We are always looking for volunteers for Work Weekend - you'll work with a Site Manager on site specific tasks, or tasks for the camp as a whole.

Work Weekend is from Friday - Sunday, we invite you to come for the whole weekend, a day, or a few hours!

 

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!

 

We provide meals from Saturday morning to Sunday lunch.

We work part of Friday, all day Saturday, and Sunday until noon.

​

Ferry fares will ONLY be provided to those who are coming for the whole weekend or at least a full day of work.

​

Children are welcome to come, but we ask that they be at least 12 years old to help.
