Are you getting ready for outdoor adventure? Pioneer provides a rustic forest experience near the ocean. Bring your own tents and enjoy this open campsite just a few steps from the ocean. This is a great place for learning camp skills with a dry shelter for your choice of company or patrol cooking. Full washroom facilities nearby at Dude's Palace gives new tenters the "comforts of home".

Pioneer is an ideal site for your preparation camps to try out your equipment and brush up the girls' tent camping and camp stove cooking skills. Pioneer is open from the beginning of April.

MAXIMUM SLEEPING CAPACITY - 30 PEOPLE
FACILITIES:

  • 7 raised tent pads

  • Shelter and storage shed

  • 7 patrol boxes

  • 6 picnic tables

  • One 3 burner propane stove with a propane tank

  • Half barrels for cooking or bring your own propane or gas stoves

  • Fire Pit for campfires

  • Cold running water

  • Electricity & lights in shelter and storage shed

  • Refrigerator and freezer in the shelter

  • Porta potties (lats) between Pioneer & Dudes

  • Short walk to washroom facilities (Dude's Palace - flush toilets, hot & cold water & showers)
